Privacy Policy
Last updated: 31 October 2026
This policy explains what personal data JS TECHNOLOGY ENTERPRISE (“JS Technology”, “we”) collects, why, and what you can ask us to do with it. We follow Malaysia’s Personal Data Protection Act 2010 (PDPA).
Who we are
JS TECHNOLOGY ENTERPRISE is a business registered with the Companies Commission of Malaysia (SSM), registration no. 202603144746 (JM1045144-V), based in Johor Bahru, Johor. We build websites, online stores, business systems and AI tools for businesses, and run software services for our clients.
What we collect
We only collect what we need for the purposes below:
- When you visit this website: nothing that identifies you. The site sets no cookies and runs no analytics or advertising trackers. Our hosting provider keeps standard access logs (IP address, browser type, pages requested and the time) for security and to keep the site running.
- When you message us on WhatsApp: your phone number, your WhatsApp profile name, the messages, photos and files you send, and when they were sent, delivered and read.
- When you become a client: your name, business name and contact details, what you ask us to build, and the invoices and payments between us.
- When you use a system we run for you: the data you or your staff put into it, such as receipts, invoices and customer records. We handle it only to provide that service.
How we use it
- To reply to your enquiries and send you quotes.
- To provide the services you asked for, including processing the documents you send us, and to support you afterwards.
- To send you messages about your project, account, orders or invoices.
- To send you news or offers, only if you have agreed to receive them. You can stop these at any time.
- To keep our records as Malaysian law requires, and to protect our services from misuse.
WhatsApp messages
We use WhatsApp, including the WhatsApp Business Platform provided by Meta, to talk to customers and to send service messages. Messages sent through it are handled by Meta under WhatsApp’s own terms and privacy policy, as well as this one.
We only send WhatsApp messages to people who contacted us first or agreed to hear from us. Reply STOP, or tell us in any way, and we will stop sending you messages other than replies to what you ask.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with service providers that help us run our business, such as our website and server hosts and Meta for WhatsApp, and only for the purposes above. We also disclose it where the law requires us to.
Some of these providers store data outside Malaysia. Where they do, we choose providers that protect it to a standard at least as strict as this policy.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiries for up to two years after our last conversation, and client records for as long as we work together. Invoices and other business records are kept for seven years, as Malaysian law requires. After that, we delete the data or make it anonymous.
Keeping it safe
Our systems use encrypted connections, only the people who need the data can see it, and access is logged. No system is perfectly secure, but if a breach affects your data, we will tell you and the authorities as the law requires.
Your rights
Under the PDPA you may ask to see the personal data we hold about you, to correct it, to stop us using it for marketing, or to withdraw your consent. Withdrawing consent may mean we can no longer provide a service that needs that data. We reply to requests within 21 days.
Changes to this policy
When we change this policy, we update the date at the top of this page. If a change affects how we use data you have already given us, we will tell you first.
